Presently the Indian economy is recovering slowly. It is returning to upward trend in the second quarter of 2017-18. The GDP growth has risen to 6.30 percent from 5.70 in the previous quarter. Thus the black light of demonitisation is slowly vanishing. The persons who criticised the demonitisation of the Modi government are now in behind the doors. Recently the world bank announced that the GDP growth of India may go upto 7percent in 2017-18.
